Venus Retrograde: Rewriting Your Relationships

Welcome back to The Rising Hearts Podcast—where together we navigate everyday life through grounded astrology and practical spirituality. I'm your host, Kristin Madding. Today’s episode is all about the current Venus retrograde in Scorpio and Libra.

Venus turned retrograde on October 3, 2026 at 1:15 AM Mountain Time at 8 degrees of Scorpio. It will return to Libra on October 25, 2026. Then, on November 13, Venus will station direct at 22 degrees of Libra.

We often hear about Mercury retrogrades, which happen approximately 3 times per year. Venus retrogrades, on the other hand, occur approximately every year and a half, lasting around 40ish days. Mercury retrogrades often involve communication and travel mishaps, a Venus retrograde is usually a time of great reflection, healing, and restructuring regarding relationships and other Venusian topics.

The houses where Scoprio and Libra reside in our charts will be especially affected. In this episode, I am going to break down the meaning of a Venus retrograde in general, describe the influences of Scorpio and Libra, and end with intuitive horoscopes for each rising sign.

As a reminder, I use traditional astrological techniques and intuitive abilities to interpret the stars. Before diving into this episode, it will help you to find where Scorpio and Libra reside within your chart, using the Whole Sign House system, and to determine what areas of life those houses represent. To do this, look up your natal chart on a website, such as Astro.com, then go to risingheartsastrology.com/resources to find a breakdown of the house meanings.

Before we discuss a Venus retrograde, let's start by breaking down the general significations of Venus herself. As you’ll remember from the last episode, where Mars represents the seat of masculinity, Venus represents our seat of femininity, independent of our gender or sex. Our natal Venus shows how we connect and relate to others. Venus also often indicates events related to all types of relationships we have with women. She shows what brings us joy and pleasure; she indicates where and how we find beauty; and tells us something about our aesthetic preferences. We can see culture, the arts and social norms follow where she goes.

Now, a Venus in retrograde indicates a period of time when we revisit, review and reconsider relationship dynamics, current or past. You may have sudden realizations about how a relationship affected you and how you may be carrying relationship trauma as a result. It’s not uncommon to see old dynamics resurface within current relationships—it’s that same old argument. We can see old partners or friends return to our lives—you may get an unexpected text or bump into people around town. Most often, though, you will simply find yourselves thinking more about exes or old friends or we may dream about past connections. Most productively, I find Venus retrogrades to be a great opportunity for healing, setting new boundaries, or undoing beliefs and conditioning that no longer serves us.

Because this retrograde will take place in two signs—Scorpio and Libra—we need to incorporate the energy signatures of both. When Venus first turns retrograde, she will be in Scorpio, the sign of her anti-domicile ruled by Mars. This means Venus is being influenced by Mars here and has to play by his rules, which Venus does not really like. In Scorpio, we find a Venus that is deeply committed and attached. Her love knows no limits to its depths—the connection is incredibly strong and intense. The aesthetic is dark librarian or gothic, and the genre is romance-horror. On the shadow side, a Venus in Scorpio can become obsessive and possessive, and at times, jealous and suspicious—this is generally due to the overwhelming depth of their feelings. When I think of pop culture examples of a Venus in Scorpio, my mind immediately goes to Morticia Addams, Catherine from Wuthering Heights or Jimmy Angelove from the first Practical Magic.

Venus in Libra, on the other hand, is back in its home sign and takes zero direction from any other planet. She lives according to her own rules, but those rules require she never lose connection with those around her. She is congenial, charming, warm and friendly. She is others-focused, and can anticipate your thoughts and finish your sentences. On the shadow side, those with Venus in Libra can lose themselves by over-prioritizing the opinions of others, and at times, they may go along to get along. Her aesthetic is whatever the height of fashion/trends are at the time, and her genre is character-driven romance dramedy, where the stakes are fairly benign and the plot beats never hit too high or too low. Characters I imagine to have a Libra Venus would be Cher from Clueless, Rachel Green from Friends, or Danny Zuko from Grease.

Ok, so let’s now factor a Venus going retrograde through these signs: first, we’ll get a Scorpio Venus that is going to review, rethink and reconsider the depth of her connections. Where is she too attached? Too affected? Being in a Mars-ruled sign, I would expect the beginning of this retrograde period to be somewhat dark and intense, as Scoprio Venus is willing to go deep into the shadows to uncover difficult truths. By the time Venus gets to Libra, however, we will be looking to integrate the lessons of what was dug up and discovered in Scorpio. Libra will encourage Venus to find solutions that bring more ease, harmony and enjoyment to relationships with others or within ourselves. By the time this Venus retrograde ends, we should have a plan for moving forward within our relationships—perhaps you’ll be starting or ending relationships, setting new intentions, establishing healthier boundaries, letting go of old dynamics, finding support in therapy, or identifying what you want from future relationships.

Rising Sign Horoscopes for the Venus Retrograde

Now that we’ve explored the general themes of the Venus Retrograde, let’s jump into the intuitive Rising Sign Horoscopes.

As is true with all astrological transits, everyone will experience this transit with varying flavor and level of intensity. Variation will occur based on your rising sign, whether you were born at night or in the day, whether you have natal planets in Scorpio or Libra, and where your natal mars and venus live, etc. Take these intuitive horoscopes to represent the basic energies of the Venus retrograde, and know, you may have a different experience.

I am going to attempt to do these intuitive horoscopes in real time, instead of writing them down. So, let’s see how that goes. First, let’s start with Aries Rising.

[Note: The horoscopes written below are pulled from the episode transcript. The sentences are not always fully formed or linear. I hope you, readers, are able to pull from the text the meaning of the reading.]

Aries Rising will experience the Venus Retrograde starting in Scorpio, which is their 8th house of shared resources, a partner’s income, and taxes. The retrograde will end in Libra, in their 7th house of marriage, partnership, and close relationships.

  • First, in Scorpio, I see the retrograde bringing up some frustration and revisiting of the contracts we've made with other people. And this could be literal contracts like divorce agreements and custody agreements, or it could be more metaphorical in terms of the distribution of efforts or responsibilities at home. There's a sense of having enough, having had enough, like losing your patience over the disparities between what you're giving and receiving. Yeah, it feels like you're pretty upset. Feels like you're pretty upset. So allow those feelings to flow through your body. It might not be a time for decisions, but it is a time to clock that you're feeling upset and that boundaries or redrafting of relationship contracts may be in order. It seems like these contracts are affecting many areas of your life. It's going deep. It might not be or might not have been apparent before now as to what how much these contracts have been affecting your life. So it's good to have that awareness. There is distrust of whomever is on the other side of the contract.

  • Okay, let's move into Libra in your seventh house. By the time Venus gets into Libra, there's a motivational shift, just like I spoke about earlier. It is wanting to, your ultimate goal is harmony. It's harmony for the relationship and for your larger family. It's finding harmony through fairness, through equal division of labor. It's wanting to regain and rebuild trust. There's a lot of relief when Venus is back into Libra. So hopefully around October 25th, an event will occur or just a shift in feeling will occur that will help make this Venus retrograde more productive. Also, your partner, if you're married or in a relationship, maybe reconsidering something in their life related to Venus, how they're showing up, what they're enjoying in life, how they connect with others. So there will be a component that's less related to you and more, you'll be in more of a support role as your partner engages in that review process.

  • It might be helpful for you at this point to point out to them what you see them enjoying and what you see their abilities being, because they may be feeling a little lost at this time. And by the time the retrograde wraps up, yeah, your partner should be in a better place. You will have to revisit the contracts when Venus re-enters Scorpio again, once it's going direct. But the energy will be a lot more productive, and you guys will actually be able to make some decisions. And part of that will be because of the work your partner did regarding his own Venus retrograde. His or her, sorry. His or her own retrograde.

Taurus Rising will experience the Venus Retrograde starting in Scorpio, which is their 7th house of marriage, partnership, and close relationships. It will end in Libra in their 6th house of hard work, health and wellness, and pets.

  • Once again, I'm getting a feeling of anger, resentment, withholding in that seventh house, Scorpio, with the Venus retrograding. So the question is where have you been withholding? Where has a partner been withholding? So not being fully honest and upfront about how they're feeling and what they need. And the sense is there's fear of acceptance or lack of acceptance that's holding you back. And the call is to consider what it is you really need and how to finally communicate that to a partner or to people in your life who have responsibilities for your needs. I feel some sadness and maybe a tendency to crash out a bit during this time. And the recommendation is to believe in yourself to hold it together. Give yourself space for grief and the grieving process. There's nothing wrong with it, you are safe. Just allow, give yourself some time and allow that energy to flow through. It will come with insight.

  • Okay, let's move to Libra in your sixth house. There's definitely renewed energy. Once Venus returns to Libra, there's motivation, there's happiness returning. Yes, there's hard work in the sixth house. And Venus is not usually like a huge fan of hard work. In some ways, she is, in like a Taurus kind of way, which is your rising sign. Like a, you know, Taurus does enjoy the plotting hard work of a long-term project and the feeling of not rushing. And this Venus energy is a little more fast-paced than that. I see this related to work projects. Deciding what you want to work on. You have to decide where you want to put your efforts, what you enjoy about work, and finding opportunities to do more of that. Yeah, reconsidering efforts and gratification that comes with that. So spend some time and reflection about your work. And it doesn't have to be work in an office or work at a job. It can be day-to-day tasks that are unfulfilling and finding ways to, yeah, restructure the relationship you have to those tasks. Finding joy in having a clean house, even though the process of cleaning is annoying, for example.

Gemini Rising will host the Venus Retrograde starting in Scorpio, in their 6th house of hard work, health and wellness, and pets; and ending in Libra, in their 5th house of enjoyment, children, hobbies, and creativity.

  • Okay, let's see what comes through. I'm hearing the word “wellness,” so there is some sort of review over wellness and considering what feels like your greatest health, finding opportunities to sit and feel for where health exists in the body already, and where you could feel greater health. I'm feeling like some sort of fluid buildup, inflammation, or maybe something related to adrenals. Maybe your kidneys. This is random. Yeah, there's just an opportunity to review certain systems of the body, especially related to fluid. And I'm not sure if that's because Scorpio is a water sign. It's like deep underground water, beds of water. Yeah, hopefully that makes sense to some of you. It's feeling very health related. Okay, that's oddly specific.

  • And so Libra, when Venus retrogrades back into Libra, what will we see? I'm hearing “playtime is over,” which is really counterintuitive to how I would feel like the signs of Venus and in Libra in the fifth house would show up. There is definitely a sense of getting down to work. It's not about enjoyment. There's tasks that need to happen, and they might be for creative endeavors. There will be a busyness component. I see writing, maybe journaling. It's much more serious than I would anticipate for a fifth house Libra signature. So find opportunities to take breaks from that and to lighten up. That's my personal recommendation. That's not what's coming through. But if you find yourself in like a tedious ‘gotta get stuff done’ mode, remember this too shall pass. And once Venus starts going direct, yeah, there's a big deep sigh of relief. Almost that you can relax and enjoy again. I'm just laughing because it's very counterintuitive, but the Venus retrograde seems to be bringing a lot of busyness to Libra, work. And then once it's moving forward again, then you can enjoy. You can enjoy the fruits of your labors, but more importantly, you can just move back into a period of enjoying life and getting back to hobbies or whatever brings you a sense of joy and connection with others.

Cancer Rising will have the Venus Retrograde begin in Scorpio, in their 5th house of enjoyment, children, hobbies, and creativity. It will end in Libra, in their 4th house of home, family, parents and foundations.

  • There's a sense that you were having a really good time, perhaps with children or family members, with Venus in Scorpio. It was pleasant prior to the Venus retrograde, and now it's feeling like a slog. I see you with your hands on your temples, and you're concerned about your children if you have children, or you're concerned about dynamics. Things that were bringing you joy and suddenly are a source of concern. Yeah, I see a lot of worry, maybe even some headaches, tension headaches, and an opportunity to take it easy, because this is just going to last until Venus retrogrades back into Libra. Deep breaths, deep breathing, meditation, exercise, self-care is important during this time.

  • Okay, so once it goes back into Libra, you're bringing some of that concern with you over into Libra. I see crossing the lines, and you're still kind of feeling bogged down and concerned. There's a slightly different flavor, or maybe what you're concerned about is something different. It seems like it might be related to the physical structure of your home and less about people, more about sure. Okay, so this could be metaphorical for relationships, but I see you tapping on the wooden beams of your house to ensure structural integrity. And I got body chills, so that is confirming for me that it's important for you to take note of. You are testing the resolve of the structures that contain your life. So you might be testing boundaries in some way of how much the container that holds your life, how much it can hold. And so there's a stress test. Is this a good enough foundation? Is the question.

  • And I am sensing that this is pretty metaphorical. I mean, you might have some actual house issues, but I'm thinking it's more about is the foundation of your, what is the foundation of your life? What do you rest your life on? What brings you ultimate peace and enjoyment? Because that is soul alignment. So you're questioning some of the pillars that you have built your life upon, and that's okay. That can feel threatening, but it's an important process that everybody goes through at certain times in their life. So take advantage of the opportunity to get answers and to see what the foundation of your life can support. And if you find out something cannot be supported, be willing to acknowledge that and let it fall away. It's probably not heading into the next chapter of your life with you. And that's okay. Okay, that's it for Cancer Risings. Thank you.

Leo Rising will have the Venus Retrograde begin in Scorpio in their 4th house of home, family, parents and foundations, ending in Libra in their 3rd house of siblings, community, short distance travel and education.

  • There is a feeling similar to the Aries rising energy. There is a slamming of fists on the table. It definitely feels like enough is enough. It feels like you've been beating your head against a wall. Okay, so these are old relationship dynamics that have been existing in your household for a long time. And it could be childhood dynamics that just continue. Oh, that might be helpful to review childhood dynamics and how they are continuing to be part of your present familial dynamics now. You are done. I see you washing your hands. That is always my sign for it's over, it's done. You've had enough. You're washing your hands of it, ready to be done, drying them off, smoothing your clothes and ready for the next chapter. Okay, so a chapter is ending based on those initial dynamics, and it's ready to move on. So you're turning the page with this Venus retrograde, which is very nice. Good closure. Yeah, ready to move on. And you will.

  • Okay, so once it goes back into Libra, so there's deep, deep connections here. Either with siblings, extended family, or people within your community. It could be a community of friends, it could be an organization that you're a part of. There's a deep attachment here and a real love of connection. And that connection may be changing. Your place within that community is changing. It's okay, it can be scary. You're gonna be okay. Trust yourself. You're just going back a little bit to remember that you want this change to occur. And so the dynamics, so something might happen to remind you that you are happy with the trajectory of these dynamics changing. A little gentle reminder. And then by the time Venus starts going direct again, yeah, it's a really quick moving energy through Libra. You're just zooming ahead into the next stage of your life. So there's lots of closure here, lots of completion, gentle reminders of the decisions you're making, and then full steam ahead into the next chapter of your life. Okay, so hopefully that resonates, and that's it for Leo Rising.

Virgo Rising will have the Venus Retrograde begin in Scorpio in their 3rd house of siblings, community, short distance travel and education. It will end in Libra in their 2nd house of income, livelihood, and personal resources.

  • The Scorpio energy is related to attachments that you have related to a sibling, a family member, or some sort of association. It could be a group, or a commitment, a community-based commitment, a familial commitment. Okay, so what's the nature of this commitment? It's no longer serving you. There needs to be a change, a restructuring, a walking away, a letting go of some sort. It's come to an end. This is like no fanfare. This is matter-of-fact, is how it's coming across. It's like you made this decision a long time ago. So, yeah, it's kind of a no-big deal thing. They, oh, whomever you're separating from might be having a challenge. And so they might pop back up in your life or in your mind. And it's not your job to fix situations for other people. They can have their experience and their feelings. It's not your responsibility. Yeah, just keep it moving. You can send them love and light and peace and a prayer and wish for their greatest well-being. But the recommendation is not to get enmeshed or entangled with that person's experience.

  • Okay, so then let's talk about the Venus retrograde in Libra in your second house. This also feels really mild. There's, yeah, okay, so there's energy working in the background. There's some a force helping you out that's restructuring some things for you financially and/or work-related. This is not something you're gonna notice or feel overtly. It's very, very subtle. Once the Venus retrograde comes to an end, you will pick up momentum. And you may have some inspiration or something happen that is related to what is being worked on in the background right now. You may have a friend or an associate or an alliance of any sex or gender come through and give you an idea for something related to money or work. So keep an eye out for that. Okay, that's gonna sum it up for Virgo rising.

Libra Rising will experience the Venus Retrograde beginning in scorpio in their 2nd house of income, livelihood, and personal resources. It will end in Libra in their 1st house of self, identity, appearance and life path.

  • Starting in Scorpio, Libra risings might experience frustration. I hear frustration. I see a pushing away of papers on a desk, banknotes. Something about this doesn't make any sense. Something in the finances aren't lining up. It's not just about finances, though. This is about pouring effort into something and it not producing the fruit that you thought it would. And that could be financially related, working on a job, starting a new business or an endeavor, and it not being fruitful yet. And coming to that realization that something needs to change or restructure. There could be a letting go of the idea entirely. This could be a changing of the relationship you have toward your livelihood, income, or money in general, which seems like a really big shift. It's not that big. It's like a small thing that you could start thinking about differently. You might find yourself thinking about it differently. Something related to the money you save and the money you hoard, things you hoard and you keep. That is meant metaphorically. I'm not calling you a hoarder. Though you might have a tendency to feel like you don't have enough when you really do. And that can have hoarding tendencies or energy signatures, and you will benefit from leaning into a greater sense of abundance, regardless of what a bank statement says.

  • And then let's move with Venus into Libra. I see you looking in a mirror, admiring what you see. This is really positive. This is about more than just your appearance. You're just feeling good, even with the Venus in retrograde. It's like there's nothing really to review here. That's funny. Maybe because it's in the first house, it's just such a strong Venus in her own domicile is such a strong energy signature that it's just a little less penetrated by the retrograde. You might try on a couple different new styles. This is very much an aesthetic transit for you. What do you like? What looks good? What feels good? What makes you feel like yourself? Those are all questions you can ask yourself. But it's a pretty positive transit. It's coming through with positive energy, good vibes, and confidence. Lots of confidence. It's great.

  • Once Venus moves direct, it's really auspicious. I see blooming, I see flowers, I see you getting in a car and going somewhere, with confidence, the wind blowing in your hair. This was a nice time. I see. When it was retrograde, there was a much more introspective view on yourself. You're just at home looking in the mirror. And then once it moves direct, it's a lot more external focused, and you're out in the world again, bringing your renewed sense of confidence and happiness. You're bringing it outward, and you're not necessarily even having to share it with anybody. You're just out of the house. I see you riding in a car in a convertible with a top down and the wind blowing through your hair, and you're singing a song, and you're carefree, and life is great. So wonderful. I hope you have moments like that in the next couple months.

Scorpio Rising will have the Venus Retrograde begin in Scorpio in their 1st house of self, identity, appearance and life path. It will end in Libra in their 12th house of self undoing, hidden forces, illness, and solitude.

  • Right off the bat, it's hard for me to get settled. And so I'm feeling like that translates to you. There's a sense of not wanting to. There's something you're not wanting to look at or wanting to see. It's uncomfortable, it's making you feel agitated. It's important to look at it though, even if just for a brief few minutes here or there, what is it we're trying to see? It's a relationship to yourself. There's something, it's not about a relationship to others. It's about how are you showing up for yourself? How do you talk to yourself? How do you feel about yourself? And there's a sense that there is some room for improvement, for greater self-compassion and patience and love. Work on developing that depth of love for the self. It's completely heart-based. And actually, the chakras affected are below the heart, solar plexus and root. Yeah, there's a real opportunity to sit with yourself and send yourself love. I know that sounds maybe a little cliche, but just become a container for your own difficult experiences without shame or judgment. Allow yourself to feel deeply.

  • Okay, and so Venus moves into Libra, what are we seeing? Okay, this is also very subtle, similar to the Virgo rising. It's a subtle energy, small shifts. I'm hearing, yeah, it's working in the background, it's working on the mind, bringing harmony within the structures of the mind, maybe literally, quite literally, I hear. Ooh, repatterning of neural pathways. You need rest, you need water. Yeah, allow this if you feel really tired between October 25th and November, what was it, 13th or 14th? Yeah, there's restructuring. It's having to do with enjoyment and pleasure, happiness. I'm feeling some dizziness, so you might be feeling ungrounded. Rest. If you do grounding exercises, that's great. But rest and water and good food is what I'm hearing. Most important. Hmm. And if there's an opportunity for gentle touch, a massage, or a trusted person to just sit with you and help process some of the energies that would be helpful. Okay, we'll leave that as it is for the Scorpio rising.

Sagittarius Rising will host the Venus Retrograde beginning in Scorpio in their 12th house of  self undoing, hidden forces, illness, and solitude, and ending in Libra in their 11th house of friends, social groups, teams and alliances.

  • Similar to the Libra rising, the energy of Venus retrograde in Scorpio brings a lot of dizziness and unsettled energy. Things have not fallen into place just yet, running in the background like a low hum or white noise. You will figure it out—actually, that didn't feel quite right; it will come together, but you don't have to figure it out. Time spent by yourself in solitude is beneficial, and you might feel some loneliness, but all of this is normal and to be expected.

  • When Venus moves into Libra in the 11th house, you will feel a lot more energy and social engagement. I see huge collaboration. During the retrograde period specifically, it is a movement toward this collaboration. It will start and then really pick up once Venus goes direct. It's about thinking who you might like to collaborate with, who you feel safe with, who is an ally, and who can help you. You have so many options and allies available to you, so it's about thinking which is the best or right one and trusting your gut and heart. It will become clear with so many options available.

  • It is generally positive once Venus returns to Libra, bringing a real busyness, but a very social busyness. Enjoy yourself and your connections. That level of enjoyment is going to help get you on the right track. Okay, that's it.

Capricorn Rising will experience the Venus Retrograde starting in Scorpio in their 11th house of friends, social groups, teams and alliances, and ending in Libra in their 10th house of career and public reputation.

  • The Venus retrograde in Scorpio in the eleventh house is uncovering alliances that no longer serve you or support you. You're turning away from old connections. Again, it's like not a huge loss. I mean, it is a loss, but you've already processed a lot of that loss. So you're now at this point where life is settling and the dust is clearing and you're walking away. There's nothing really to do. Honor things that, connections that have played out their role and where their time has passed. So anytime it comes up, we just honor it and then we let it go. You're settling into a new version of life without these people or these connections. It seems okay.

  • And so then once Venus goes into Libra in your tenth house. Now this is where, interestingly enough, we see more of the questioning of who's your support team? And who can you rely on? Who can you trust? Who do you want to work with, spend time with? It's not just about work, it's just like which of your most visible friendships are the most productive in your life, the most helpful, which friendships serve you is really the question. And it's not just friendships, it's all sorts of relationships. And in which ways do they serve you? And how can you better utilize the friendships that do exist and the connections that do exist to support you and move you forward? There is a little bit of a ladder climbing feeling here, like there's certain things you want to achieve and accomplish, and there's nothing wrong with that. There's no shame in that. And you're wondering who can help you with that. So it is a review of the connections that support you at work, but also just in life in general to help you achieve your goals. We don't want to use anybody, but there could be mutual support. Don't forget to receive. Give and receive. Okay, that's good for Capricorn Risings.

Aquarius Rising will experience the Venus Retrograde starting in Scorpio in their 10th house of career and public reputation, ending in Libra in their 9th house of belief systems, higher education, and foreign travel, places and people.

  • There's a question about whether or not some efforts are worth it. Why am I doing it? Is it even worth it anymore? Do I want to be doing it? So only you can answer what that it is. It's probably related to career or some sort of public-facing endeavor. I'm seeing somebody on a PTO committee or just parenting in public. It doesn't have to be a traditional job.

  • Yeah, there's like an exhaustion component, and it's not just physically exhausted, it's just like something you're just done with something. It's like burnout, a combination of like, yeah, something just running its course even. It's just over and done. Once again, this is a fairly smooth energy. It's not, there's not a lot of resistance. It feels like a lot of this stuff has already been decided and worked through, and now we're just tying up whatever loose ends. And that seems to be a pretty common theme for a lot of signs. It's like this energy, it's like old stuff that you decided a while ago, and maybe you're just enforcing it, or you're reminding yourself of why you made the decisions you did. But there's an ease of transition and a smoothness in it.

  • Okay, so with Venus moving into Libra in your ninth house, I'm seeing increased energy and curiosity in other people, other cultures. Maybe a foreign person comes into your life, or maybe you're thinking about an exchange you had with somebody in the past in a foreign place, or just a foreign foreign to you person. There might be okay, there might be a sexual component where maybe there is an exchange that didn't sit right with you or that was somehow painful. There was no follow-through on the other person's part, and this is coming up into your consciousness to be resolved. It's not about you, of course. It is the baggage this other person carries and holds. And okay, I'm just gonna like bless you and say you are sovereign and take away the influence of that energetically. You're all good. You don't need to review that anymore.

  • I see a bow being tied on a present, so that signals completion. And then you can put that present up on the shelf and kind of forget about it. And then I see hands like dusting off of hands, which means also completion. So some difficult exchange is coming up to be reviewed, to be let go of, and then to just put away and move on with life.

  • Okay, and once Venus moves direct—invigoration—as with so many signs, we're feeling momentum. You're leaving behind this difficult experience and feeling a renewed sense of confidence and happiness. And oh, it's like freeing up some space energetically in your system to learn more or to welcome in new experiences. So really beneficial. That's really nice. I hope that Aquarius risings really receives some benefit and some healing from this transit.

Pisces Rising will have the Venus Retrograde starting in Scorpio in their 9th house of belief systems, higher education, and foreign travel, places and people. Ending in Libra, in their 8th house of shared resources, partner’s income, and taxes.

  • Venus is offering you the opportunity in Scorpio to think about what other things you might want to learn and what other areas, like literally areas of the world you might like to explore. And this could be through visiting, but I'm seeing food, people, places, culture, just like a grab bag of ways to explore other areas. So you're it feels like positive in this Scorpio energy, unlike any other sign that's the most positive, and it feels opportunistic. It's like a great opportunity to ask yourself what's next? What else do you want to do? What else do you want to learn? What opportunities are available to you? What do you want to experience? What would make you happy and feel good in your body? So it's a good opportunity to do some reflection and meditation, and things might just pop into your mind. Ooh, I'm curious about that. Oh, what about that? Ooh, I'd like to know what that feels like. It can be sensory, pretty sensory. Yeah, it's nice actually.

  • Okay, so then once it moves into Libra in your eighth house, Venus is bringing what? Okay. It's bringing a review of contracts, so similar to Aries Rising, review of contracts with those we love and live with. Even potentially people who have passed and things you felt they owed to you. Things can be dealt with and transmitted and transferred even after the passing of a person. So if there's something you feel like you should have gotten from somebody, you can ask for that even after they have passed. That's available to you. So take a chance. You can ask for it just in your mind or via prayer. Bringing resolution to unfinished business. You'll be signing a new contract that is better for you. There's an advocacy piece here, standing up for yourself, and feeling into just how you want to move forward. This does not have to be contentious. This is a simple declaration of what you want. And you're not fighting for it, you're just saying it. And it's available to you. Nobody has to approve it.

  • So by the time Venus is moving direct, you're tired. Okay, I'm feeling tired. And like that was a lot of work. I see you like shaking out residual energy. You're proud of yourself. I'm proud of you. Way to go, way to stand up for yourself, way to state your needs without defending yourself. Okay, so just some rest. It's the first sign where I haven't felt a lot of momentum. Once Venus moves direct, it's like an opportunity to just take a chill pill and sit back. Yeah, let the energy move around you while you take some much deserved rest for the work you did. Good job. Okay, that's it for Pisces Rising.
